We are Nazma Khan and Parvez Alam Khan, a husband-and-wife duo whose shared love for dogs has led us to create one of the most trusted names in the world of dog breeding and care.Our journey into the dog world is one of transformation, passion, and dedication — and it all began in 2000.

How Our Story Began
Before meeting Parvez, I had no experience with dogs and, to be honest, was quite afraid of them. However, when I married Parvez and moved into his family home, I was introduced to a beautiful German Shepherd named Tiger, and everything changed. At first, I kept my distance from Tiger, intimidated by his size and energy, but over time, I grew to appreciates remarkable intelligence and gentle nature.

It was then that I discovered my husband& deep passion for dogs. Parvez had an impressive knowledge of different dog breeds, their health, and nutritional needs, and he was already committed to learning everything he could about responsible dog ownership. Slowly but surely, I started to share his passion, and our bond with the dogs grew stronger.

The Birth of Durabull Kennels
As our interest in dogs evolved, so did our commitment to raising quality, healthy, and well- socialized pets. We began participating in dog shows and immersing ourselves in the world of dog breeding. Our shared dream became clear: to establish a kennel that would breed and raise dogs with exceptional temperaments, health, and conformation. In 2005, we officially registered the name Durabull — a name that represents our commitment to producing dogs that are not only beautiful but also resilient, strong, and loyal, much like the German Shepherds we had come to adore.

Our Philosophy
At Durabull Kennels, we believe that every dog deserves a loving, responsible home. We are dedicated to the health and well-being of every dog we breed, ensuring they receive the best care, nutrition, and training. Our focus is on breeding dogs that excel in both temperament and physical characteristics, with a special emphasis on bullmastiffs. We strive to educate prospective dog owners about the breed’s unique needs, helping them understand what it takes to raise a happy, healthy dog. We believe in a holistic approach to dog care, offering ongoing support and guidance to our clients long after they take their new puppy home.

A Word from Parvez Alam Khan
As the pioneer behind Durabull, I’ve dedicated my life to studying dogs and their well-being. From their behavior to their health and nutrition, I believe that understanding a dog’s needs is the first step toward providing a better life for them. Through years of study, experience, and hands-on care, I’ve gained an in-depth understanding of various breeds, particularly the bullmastiffs, and have made it my mission to breed dogs that are not only beautiful but also strong, healthy, and balanced.

My wife Nazma has been an incredible partner in this journey, and together, we’ve created a kennel that reflects our love for dogs and our commitment to their well-being. We are proud of the work we do and excited to share our passion with fellow dog lovers.

The Beginning of a Lifelong Passion
My (Parvez) journey into the world of dogs began long before I ever owned my first dog. In 1997,while browsing through a library, I came across a book titled Encyclopedia of Dogs. It was this book that first exposed me to the incredible variety of dog breeds and ignited a deep curiosity about dogs
that would grow into a lifelong passion. Determined to make my love for dogs a reality, I decided to get my first dog: a German Shepherd named Tiger. He became an integral part of our family, staying with us for nearly ten years. Tiger not only taught me the joys of dog ownership but also laid the foundation for my understanding of dog behavior, care, and training.

Learning Through Experience
After the loss of our beloved Tiger, we decided to expand our horizons and try a different breed. In pursuit of a powerful, loyal breed, we brought home a Rottweiler named Frooti from a renowned line (Mr. Bedi’s Farooq line) in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. Unfortunately, our joy was short-lived, as Frooti passed away after just 1.5 years due to complications from tick fever.
This heartbreaking experience taught us two valuable lessons:
1. Never rely fully on a vet for understanding a dog’s health, and always be proactive in learning about their needs and potential health issues.
2. Breed temperament matters, especially in urban living. While Rottweilers are incredible dogs, they require ample space and have a strong, sometimes challenging temperament that is always ideal for smaller homes or apartments. After careful study and reflection, we decided to focus on breeds that were more suited to smaller living spaces and less aggressive in temperament. Bullmastiffs became our breed of choice, and our first Bullmastiff was a female named Julie from Ayaz Farooqui, New Delhi.

The Bullmastiff Journey: From Passion to Recognition
Though Julie was not a show-quality dog in terms of looks, her offspring would prove to be exceptional. When we bred Julie with an imported Bullmastiff, Ratchbury Samson, the results were nothing short of remarkable. One of the puppies from this litter went on to become the most winning female of her time, earning numerous Best of Breed titles under the ownership of Mr. Amit Nijjer.
This success set us on a path of breeding and producing not only champions but also a variety of exceptional dogs that became beloved companions in homes across India. Over the years, we’ve continued to expand our breeding program and have produced countless outstanding dogs who excel in both temperament and physical traits.Our dogs have made their mark in homes across India, and we take immense pride in knowing that  many dog owners  especially in metro cities  have one of our dogs as part of their family.

Through the years, we have focused on raising dogs that are adaptable to various living environments while maintaining the power, loyalty, and intelligence that make Bullmastiffs and other breeds so special. We also believe in the importance of educating dog owners.
